Aesthetic-ergonomical packaging
for an alkaline bathing salt

Objective of the redesign of MEINE BASE was to design a packaging series for an alkaline bathing salt that would suit the market of both beauty culture and medical healthfulness. The mainly female target group is living a health-conscious lifestyle.

The challenge was to develop a applicable design solution disregarding extensive technical constraints regarding filling levels and limitations caused by the filling plant. The new design had to be recognizable by the user and furthermore practicable for all four packaging units from 75g to 3000g. Age and target group related aspects required a maximal ease of use and a simple locking mechanism. Ihe incorporation of a measuring pays a tribute to the partially medical nature and premium claim of the packaged containing product.
