I was tasked with designing, manufacturing and installing a display highlighting the progression of Triumph engines over time.
• Initial requirements were provided such as quantity and type of engine and overall display size.
• Market research was conducted and various aesthetically pleasing solutions were suggested.
• A design style was chosen before being proven with a full CAD assembly.
• Tolerance stacks, FEA reports and cost analysis was conducted and signed off.
• A single test display engine was commissioned which proved successful.
• The remaining 26 engines and racking system were produced with only minor difficulties (part delays, unavailable CAD for old engines).
• The finished product was successfully delivered on time and budget.
