Kimberly Newman

I am formally trained in Visual Communication and have over five years experience in the interactive/web design industry.



I was most recently an Art Director with AGENCY.COM: Atlanta. Clients include SunTrust.com, FirstUnion.com and Coca-Cola.com. I worked within a team to propose business, creative and interactive solutions for existing

and prospective clients. My focus has included scoping the project and defining key creative objectives and deliverables for each phase of the project. I was directly involved in the creative process of the project, designing and directing the design of mood-boards, setting the tone and feel of a site, comps presentation in person to key stakeholders and managing the creative as it moved into production, all the while maintaining initial creative strategies. I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the

creative team. In addition, I develop creative solutions with strategy and technology team members and worked directly with the client and the client's customers.



Prior to AGENCY.COM, I was with Cox Interactive Media as Design Director for the Atlanta Studio and AccessAtlanta.com. I was with CIMedia for just under

3 years. My responsibilities were again very broad and included managing the interactive brand of all Atlanta Cox Partner properties (interactive, television, radio and newspaper) and overseeing the movement of all of those

brands into a Content Management System, helping build out the HTML code for all templates and building graphical standards for each. Additional responsibilities included studio budgets, working closely with both sales and marketing departments to ensure revenue goals were met, manage design of off-line marketing materials and continuous growth of all site traffic.
