British Arts & Crafts Set Design Concept

The British Arts & Crafts Movement took place from 1860-1930's and it emphasized the craftsmanship of an individual and the attention to detail. The Broadway play that I chose to merge with the British Arts & Crafts Movement was Wonderland. Lush outdoor settings are something I wanted to execute, which is why I chose to recreate two outdoor scenes. I personally created the molds for the flamingos for the croquet scene. I also incorporated the color scheme of the movement by using colors such as rose, sapphire, forest green, dark brown and gold.
