Chair Metamorphosis
Upcycling is a current trend that I chose to in by reconstructing an old vintage chair. Stripping the chair down to its original pieces using a table saw, clamp and other tools was an intriguing process.The features I wanted to keep in tact were the rush texture on the top of the chair and the barley twist. I began to learn why the project was titled Chair Metamorphosis. Reflecting upon my sketch from day one, and the finished product it had morphed into a beautiful high table.
