Big Apple Circus Souvenir Program, 2012-13

Big Apple Circus souvenir program, 2012-13 season. Cover represents the retro nature of the show, which takes its inspiration from classic American circus of the mid-1800s and invests it with a contemporary attitude and energy. The Inside pages carry the theme while showcasing the extraordinary cast of international performers and provide compelling behind-the-scenes information.

Also shown: sample pages from an earlier book celebrating the return of world-renowned clown Bello Nock, who was introduced to American audiences by Big Apple Circus before he went on to headline shows for Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey. The Bello Returns souvenir book was designed in the style of a comic book.

BAC's one venture into theatre not under the big top was Oops! The Big Apple Circus Stage Show. Directed by Tony- and Oscar-winner Tony Walton, Oops! showed what can happen when a Shakespearean Company and a Circus are double booked at a theater one night.
