View of the finished project on distribution day. It's too bad the new logo wasn't implemented at this time, but they still look like a polished unit. The draw of the folder we created is that it has a filing tab - we wanted to create a resource to be used, so increasing the functionality without any inconvenience was helpful!

Design of an organization document to reprint and include with the judges' folder. The version we have for use at CAWS North Dakota is the same but colored to match the new logo.

Publication: Resource for Judiciary

When I started at CAWS North Dakota, I was given a project to finish from a previous contractor - a resource for judges advocating for an increased use of batterer treatment in the state, with research-based information, a directory of available services, and other supplemental documents.

I received a majority of the content in Word document form, but it needed additional copy, thorough editing, and extended citing work as well as a design and organization concept. When I had a plan ready, I presented a rough draft and mock up to the statewide Batterer Treatment Forum for feedback and suggestions. Incorporating the additional requests, I worked with two local printing companies to create a custom folder to get the look and functionality I wanted for the budget we had to work within.

I assembled the 100 final products for delivery to a judicial conference in Bismarck. The feedback I've been hearing is they look professional and respectful of a hard-to-address audience.
