Client Challenge: Create a new modern masthead, identity, position statement and tagline, update the interior design of Genetic Engineering News magazine, and completely overhaul the old media kit.

History: Readers have been referring to the magazine as GEN for years and GEN had grown beyond its original focus on genetics into additional life science areas.

Solution: A new GEN masthead, logo, updated red and magazine design, brightened paper stock, completely new media kit, and special editions. Additionally, I created a tip-on cover to introduce readers to the new GEN.
Client Challenge: Overhaul the media kit to coincide with the new GEN brand redesign while making the content easier to comprehend.

Solution: Completely rework the infographics and create a more exiting and vibrant design.
