Job Description

Summary: Supports the design output on the OSPD line with team collaboration. New innovative and aesthetically pleasing product concepts while understanding costs, manufacturability and materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Participates in the overall product strategies, industry research, analysis, requirements, and development for new and emerging products.

Assists in the design and development of products from start to finish in a team environment.

Creates product specifications and assist in developing products with overseas manufactures.

Provides research/trend information to help support new concepts in development.

Prepares presentations for customers.

Participates in problem solving, concept development, brainstorming and sketching.

Prepare photorealistic renderings,presentations layouts, trend boards, and communication with specs for overseas sample making and manufacturing.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Design software; 3D Modeling software; Rendering software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Other Skills and Abilities

Proficient in CAD, 3D modeling and Creative Suite.


Other Qualifications

Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

Salary is $52,000 - $58,000/yr. based experience.

NOTE: International candidates must hold a valid US working permit.
