Our client is looking for a Media Director (MD) that will be responsible for all media activities on assigned brands/clients. Teaming with client and agency personnel, the MD works to establish all media objectives and directs the development of the comprehensive media strategy, identifying the most effective channels and media mix. This candidate must have a passion for all media, but thrives on digital and social as they will help shape the growth of agency’s interactive media offerings/capabilities. The MD is not only an agency leader, but a leader in the media community. We are looking for innovative professionals that are available to work full time, onsite in Philadelphia. This is a full time, direct hire role with a cutting edge advertising agency.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Eight or more years of media experience with agency or industry experience
Solid understanding of all media disciplines with an expertise in digital/interactive marketing and knowledge of online media planning.
Creative thinker with excellent analytical abilities
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Works with account and media teams to develop Media Action Plan prior to the development of the media plan
Displays an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and their marketing objectives
Directs all media planning and buying activities for assigned accounts including but not limited to:
Media plan development and execution; can plan and buy online and emerging media.
Approval and effective execution of media buys
Timely and accurate completion of all Client projects
Has an analytical approach and in-depth knowledge of both traditional and interactive research resources.
Understands how digital fits in the overall client marketing/media strategy.
Can plan and buy online and emerging media.
Has a strong working knowledge of analytic tools and can use them to evaluate performance metrics.
Understands ROI and can provide the client with a basis for measurement of the digital activities.
Is responsible for the training and advancement of the media team
Encourages the exploration of media alternatives and creativity in all media recommendations
Ensures that all relationships – internal and external - are harmonious and productive
Maintains a high professional profile
Is passionate and articulate and can craft a compelling case/recommendation and present it to a client
Plays an active role in new business assignments
