We are currently seeking a charismatic, experienced Digital Design Director with strong knowledge and understanding of digital and traditional marketing/communication to join the team + directly oversee our two in house designers. You understand how to bring together ideas, words and images to create digital, brand experience. As the lines blur between social engagement and traditional marketing you are able to design creative solutions that engage consumers. Your ability to work from concept to execution is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and with a cross functional team.. You will work with and report to the VP Global Creative Director and collaborate with the rest of the design team as well as other business, marketing and functional colleagues.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Design and implementation of the method brand identity across all digital channels
Develop, connect and curate branded content to build our brands across social media channels
Extend annual campaign ideas across digital
Lead concept + design of web/banner ads + seasonal content, retail partnership concepts and page takeover design, translate digital analytics to creative solutions and video content art direction
Support our digital content strategy thru social media story telling, info-graphics, images, buttons, blogger concepts, seasonal content, translate digital analytics to creative solutions, video content art direction
Lead creative strategy as well as execution
Attend regular cross functional + weekly design meetings
Share your knowledge and skillset with rest of the design team
Work reception once a month*

8+ years agency or in-house CPG experience working on brands in digital and traditional media w/in
Experience coaching a small + mighty team of digital designers
A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating digital expertise and brand storytelling.
A graceful working style and strong, yet diplomatic, communication skills are pivotal as well
Strong strategic thinker, creative leader and problem solver.
Ability to present and clearly articulate creative point of view to cross functional team, both written and in person
A positive and clear communicator— able to articulate ideas and voice constructive opinions.
Good written and in-person presentation skills.
A great collaborator and able to work with people across multiple categories and functional areas.
Must be extremely organized and able to work under tight deadlines while managing projects simultaneously.
