As a Consumer Trend Analyst, you develop in-depth, contextual understanding of the consumer and contribute to design strategies that impact our clients’ business. You will join the growing Design Strategy team, and collaborate with our research, design and engineering teams to create elegant solutions to complex design challenges.
You are comfortable and fluent with leading consumer trend analysis across multiple industries using both primary and secondary research.

Create well-considered, insightful reports that combine consumer and secondary research on social-cultural, business, and technology trends.
Develop quantitative and qualitative consumer research studies and translate the research data into actionable insights for our clients.
Conduct co-creation workshops with key stakeholders to develop insights and new perspectives about the future of their business.
Present research findings through data visualizations, storytelling, and written analysis for our clients and internal teams.
Work with design strategists to turn insights into forward-looking, evidence-based strategies that impact our clients’ business models and product road maps
More About You
You have a degree in business, marketing, social science, design or a related discipline. You have at least 3 years in a relevant research, marketing, consumer insights, branding or consulting role. You have worked in a consulting environment for at least 1 year and are familiar with how they operate.
You are clever.
You have a true passion for Design Strategy and consumer trend analysis, as evidenced by your career and education choices. You have extensive experience developing consumer insights for the future, as well as with various qualitative and quantitative research methods. You have superior knowledge of consumer behavior and trends. You have a talent seeing patterns behind data. You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how consumer behavior can impact business. You are a great story-teller with the ability to explain complicated concepts in a clear, concise way to our clients and internal teams. You demonstrate high standards of workmanship and attention to detail and can help improve departmental processes and best practices.
You are curious.
You like to explore new territories and learn from others. You have a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, concepting processes, approaches, and tools and take the initiative to improve them. You’re also comfortable with global travel (role may include up to 10% travel), either on your own or as part of a team. You are self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
You are confident.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, because sometimes that leads to the most unique, unexpected design solutions. You possess a strong work ethic and are willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done.
You have excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills – all needed for research, facilitation, interviews, and client presentations. Your writing is concise, grammatically correct, and has the appropriate tone. You possess strong empathy and verbal communication skills that allow to you communicate with anyone and unlock what consumers are thinking and feeling.
You can work on-site in our Philadelphia office, and are willing to travel for client work.
