As a Senior Creative Director, you are a visionary— an outstanding storyteller who can outline high-profile creative strategy and forge trusted relationships with key stakeholders, all while fearlessly guiding a super-talented team of art directors and designers.
Lead client engagements, conceptual development, innovation, execution, and presentation of creative assignments and accounts. Lead creative project teams in driving the next wave in innovation and concept development. Demonstrate the ability to see beyond explicit assignments and identify broader, long-term opportunities for your clients. Win new clients and attract brilliant creative talent to the organization. Understand what makes a great user experience and have a deep understanding of the technology driving experience design today. Provide guidance on best practices and positive feedback, critique and mentoring to project team members. Challenge your teams and clients to extend well beyond the expected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Account Directors to build strong client relationships and act as a senior-level client representative for the creative team.
Works within specified deadlines; edits and revises work based on stakeholder feedback.
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary group of creatives and designers as well as stakeholders from other disciplines such as sales, marketing, operations and fabrication.
Provides guidance and best practices to the studio. Actively participates in critiques, discovery sessions, and reviews —providing feedback and mentorship to team members from concept to completion.
Oversees and manages the quality and accuracy of all design deliverables.
Rapid and detail-oriented organizational skills. Leads project teams, delegates workloads, manages schedules and deadlines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in design, art, English, journalism, creative writing, communications or equivalent experience demonstrated by a strong portfolio.
7+ years as an ACD, CD or SCD
2+ years of experience leading a design team.
Demonstrates excellence in creative brand storytelling across live, digital, 2D or 3D media (General Session expertise is highly desirable.)
Hands-on expertise with conventional presentation media essential (PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop, etc.).
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Hangouts)
Hands-on expertise with video design and production a definite plus.
Commanding presenter with a proven track record of successfully selling and executing creative ideas.
Able to inspire, mange, mentor, coach and recruit creative talent.
