Backyard BBQ was a small sandwich shop with one catering truck that the owner used to serve lunch at construction sites and factories. But he had greater aspirations, and wanted a visual identity that reflected where he was going rather than where he was. So I started with a logo with some life and color to it, that could elevate his image and make him recognizable as the established chain restaurants. Applied to a range of products, it provides him with an identity he can grow into, rather than one he'll have to redesign as he outgrows it.
