SDC Material World
Using the project 'Material World' a competition from The Society of Dyers and Colourists, I looked into the functions of the human body and how certain man made technology looks to replicate their process' and functions in everyday life.
I produced a selection of textile samples for menswear using a combination of drawings and mark making artwork of human cells, and contrasting their organic shapes with structured lines of technology like circuit boards.
