Bread & War - Documenting the state of Somalia in the early 1990s, 22-year old photographer Dan Eldon captured the country’s extreme poverty, violence, and famine. Images from Eldon’s last days are juxtaposed with photographs from a local bakery. Exploring the order and chaos of making both bread and war, these juxtapositions bring to light these perpetual, everyday events.
