In the original concept the PhotoBooth was supposed to be introduced in an empty space, so it was designed to stand on itself. Later the concept was updated in to a bit more portable proportions. The final version is a table top model, but can also be mounted on a bespoke stand.
1st iteration
2nd version
It was only after 4 versions and numerous iterations that I came up with the final, 5th model.
Distinctive pattern formed by the air vents in the rear of the case.
The camera is still to be mounted.

Accreditation Station for Aventra Oy

This project was comissioned by a digital security company, Aventra Ltd. Aventra has developed a software for creating for instance personell ID cards. Around the software there is a set of tech, including a DSLR camera, a touch display, a keyboard and a computer to run it all. The customer sits in front of the apparatus, types in their name and other required information, looks up and gets their picture taken. The software the automatically crops the image and gathers the available information to eventually print out a plastic personell ID card. The casing for the device is wax coated birch plywood.
