Visualization of the first edition. SolidWorks.
Components of the assembly. SolidWorks.
First lot ready for assembly. The cover features two buttons: one for the locks and one for flashing the indicators. The buttons are separated from the surface of the cover, but attatched to the part itself via 0.3 mm thick micro bridges that double as supports and suspension for the button.
Second edition fresh from the printer.
Second edition without the cirquit board and the signal light cover. Later on I decided to drop the signal light window entirely, since the actual signal led is clearly visible through the material.

Central lock R/C

My car's central locking systems r/c needed to be touched up a bit. With the visual update I wanted to integrate a USB flash drive with the remote controller, since besides my phone and wallet those are the two things I always carry with me. After a few iterations I decided to make a detatchable compartment for a very small flash drive in the bottom of the remote. After a few months I got bored with the first design and desided to go with a more boy racer -design instead.

SolidWorks and 3D-printing.
