Sketches - Quick thumbnail sketches were made before deciding on a design. This process lead to selecting an organic shape.
Mold Assembly - Assembling the mold is 90 percent of the job. Precision CNC routed cuts were made to create the MDF panels. Solidworks was also necessary in order to create the upper foam portion. Extensive ribbing forms are printed, glued to thin foam sheets, cut out, then smoothed over with a hardener before gel coating.
