The interior renovation concept of the Nashville Hard Rock was meant to translate into a subtly sophisticated urban experience and counter the local "honky-tonk" feel of the neighboring spaces. This experience manifested by creating intimate dining settings while providing visual connectivity to the bar and open kitchen on the first level, and provide the same connectivity from the bar to the stage on the second level. The second floor bar /dining featured garage doors which opened up the interior performance space to a rooftop outdoor dining experience overlooking the nearby river.
Project contribution:
• Art directed and collaborated with artist to design/fabricate/install the custom slump glass bar wall
• Managed interior design from concept through construction completion; supervised a team of external design consultants during the interior design development/documentation phase.
• Sourced, prototyped and procured furnishings, specialty millwork and thematic lighting items
