Oregon Wine Board

The goal was to bring the identity of the Oregon Wine Board into a more current and modern visual aesthetic. Oregon's vineyards grow 72 grape varieties for 450 wineries located in 16 approved appellations within four wine country regions. The business of growing grapes and making wines is varied and dependent on delicate balances of the environment. We wanted to reflect a level of sophistication and balance within the logo. The "O" letterform was given vine-like structure that activates the interior space. The word mark is structured and gives a strength for the delicate treatment of the mark. Additional material was developed to celebrate Oregon Wine Month.
