Mónica De La Barrera Medina

Born in Mexico City.

PhD in Social Anthropology by the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), Mexico City; With a master's degree and honorable mention in Graphic Design from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP). Graduated from the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Communication Design, by the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM-Azc.).

Coordinator and founder of the degree in Graphic Design at the Institute of Higher Studies of Chiapas (IESCH), in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. She has been a professor of design at several universities in the country, as well as a guest at collective exhibitions of various poster events nationwide. He has participated in the management and organization of national design events.

Currently, full-time research professor at C, with a desirable PRODEP Profile, at the Center for Design and Construction Sciences of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA), where she teaches subjects focused on Corporate Image, Editorial Design and Typography, between others.
