draft 01 – "fancy as f" Clean, memorable and uncomplicated – That's how concept and form of this first draft approach viewers. Probably not as forward as the working title but still self-confident, the simple stylized letter "f" represents the cook himself and puts him in the center of attention.
The cook‘s approach to make use of his produce "from head to tail" and work as efficiently and ecologically as possible is shown through the correlation of the simple symbol and traditional, yet clean drawings of ingredients.
The red dab of color in an otherwise reduced color palette stirs up the viewers curiosity and arouses interest.
draft 02 – "Wappen 2020" aims to timelessly and discreetly visualize the brand name. The utilized letters forge a reduced "coat of arms" and thus – through use of clear lines – form the base of this design.

The simple shape elegantly bridges the gap between modernity and tradition – core values of the brand itself.
The historically rich, yet modernized shape of the shield / or coat of arms and its association with value and experience, serves to convey highest culinary standards and taste.
draft 03 – "with all senses" Using the name giver's initials, this concept plays with fusing and abstracting the letters to form a distinctive symbol that can also be read as the number 5 – a representation of the quintessential five senses needed to fully experience culinary perfection.
More than "just" eating – a brand promise. The physiological perception with all five senses is needed to distinguish the trivial process of consuming food from experiencing true culinary pleasure.

draft 04 "geSchichten" garlic or onion? flame or droplet? whisk? a sign as diverse as our interpretations Association and interpretation. The lingering smell of freshly cooked meals and ingredients paints pictures within our minds. We remember sunday dinners at our parent's homes, eating with our grandparents, trouble-free childhoods, feelings of comfort and safety. Those personal stories and experiences are at the very core of this design. Honest emotions | honest craft
