Couture Corset
For this couture corset, i wanted to create my own pattern using mixed media. I created the black polka dots using pallets. The shapes and the off-white dots where made using faux leather. I drew all these different shapes and came up with that circular curvy shape and cut it out of the faux leather and arranged it to create a pattern.I decided to cover some panels with clear vinyl to give it a modern edgy feel and created half circle vinyl borders along the princess lines. I added victorian lace to give it a classic feel and a sheer pink ribbon. The corset body was made with a pastel canvas.
