I am an Industrial designer, passionate about fitness, sports and the products that allow everyone to keep moving, enjoying life and making the tools we use in every day life more beautiful, efficient and longer lasting. I worked in a consultancy environment in the Netherlands for two years gaining a sensibility for minimalism and contemporary simplicity, followed by contract work for Product design consultancies in the North West of the U.K., producing graphic and industrial designs for machine tools and medical products.

Awards

3rd runner up in Plastics Industry Awards in the U.K. where I was part of a team comprising development engineers and divers, to launch Apeks Marine's Flight Regulator- one of the lightest regulators available designed for Divers travelling on long haul flights to warmer climate dive destinations.

The Aqualung Pro-QD is one of the flagship Buoyancy Compensators of the Dive Product Range. The brief was to update the style of the B.C. with regard to use of innovative fabrics, sewing and construction methods available. The main focus was to introduce a more European aesthetic to the product and allow the B.C.'s ergonomic advantages and technical features such as the Quick Dump weight release system to be easily identifiable at the point of sale.
