Sundial lamp - My Sundial Lamp combines a clock with a lamp to imitate the poetic sundial effect in telling the time. For a Sundial is considered to be a medium between the Sun and human-being, an indoor Sundial lamp could emphasize the relationship between human-being and nature in an artificial environment
Compared with other clocks, I used Shadow rather than an arm to indicate the time. Its implicit, mute, primitive, and modern effect represents the power of the Sun, and the vitality of the nature. The especially interesting part of using shadows is that it takes a while for the audient to figure out the meaning of these shadows. Once they get the relationship of shadow-Sun; Sun-time, they will get a fresh and deep comprehension of the meaning of time.
