Luma-Leash - This design was created in response to an open ended college assignment. The model was hand made using medium density foam, acrylic and DAYS!!! of sanding.

Misting Fan - This design was my response to a college assignment to satisfy a niche market for the retail "design" devision of an existing or invented store. The model was created using medium density foam, vaccu-formed plastics and lots of primer.

Model Making - I first developed a foam mock-up to establish the design. I took measurements from the mock-up and began the arduous task of shaping the final model USING HAND TOOLS; oh, my kingdom for a shop! (The face of the fan was formed on a lathe.) Several layers of bondo and sanding later it was smooth enough for paint and vaccu-forming. The paint was still a bit tacky when I strolled in to the presentation high on fumes with aching wrists and bloodshot eyes. I.D. is a wicked mistress:)
