Designed the Lab collaborating with Architects, Engineers, environmental safety consultants, vendors, contractors and clients including floor plans, dust collection, electrical layout, and safety controls. Supervised contractors during construction. Solicited and received over $250,000 in donations of tools, equipment and materials. Oversaw operations of the workshop and Digital Lab of this design business incubator including risk management, safety and hazardous materials. Produced CAD drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Illustrator. Estimated and ran CNC Laser Cutting and 3D Printing jobs. Recruited, trained, managed staff and coordinated schedules. Increased business 100% by 2nd year of operation without marketing support. Grew client relationships to improve business opportunities by visiting factories, consulting on product development, supplying technical advice and resources. Developed a two year degree model making curriculum. Wrote the Policy & Procedures Manual in coordination with CUNY Legal, Health & Safety. Taught Intro. To Professional Model Making.
