Arby's: The Mona Greasa
The Mona Greasa. We were already fans of Phil Hansen’s work. I’m pretty sure the first time I saw a video of his, he was karate chopping a canvas with his paint covered hand until Bruce Lee appeared.
With many cool videos and projects under his belt, and a small following of his own, we asked him to help us promote the Arby’s Roastburger by painting something out of burger grease to show how greasy burgers were. What he gave us was hailed as a masterpiece.
The video went viral and the story was picked up all over the place. Plus, it ended up being the most successful product launch in the history of Arby’s.
