The 12 year comes in a standard printed box.
The 21 year comes in a custom hinged box that open from the side and is covered with a premium, shimmery linen paper. The inside is molded. One side is molded to hold a small booklet we did that tells the story of the aged cognac with hand illustrations of different parts of the process and has a place to record the special occasions it was shared on. The other side is molded to hold the bottle snug. Each bottle of the 21 year is numbered which is laser engraved on the metal label found on the bottle and on the box.
Even though it was just a packaging assignment, we took the time to come up with a couple ideas for print. At the time, figuring out the ad campaign was still low priority compared to everything else they had to prepare for the launch of the product line, so they never got beyond marker comps.

Courvoisier: packaging

The Courvoisier Connoisseur Collection is a collection of aged cognac. They have the 12 year and the 21 year. The turnaround was tight and ended up dictating some of the process but I like the end result, and the client at Jim Beam couldn't have been more pleased.
