The evolution a successful long-running campaign. The “Eliminate Regifting” campaign for Patron had been a popular campaign for them, but had gotten a little stale over the many years it has run during the holiday season.
We were tasked with evolving and freshening up the campaign. Knowing that the campaign would live almost entirely outdoors, we built off the old campaign (which was simply a product shot with the headline “Eliminate regifting”) and came up with some classic “re-gifts” and positioned Patron as “the gift”.
We placed ads in and around popular NYC holiday shopping destinations hoping to save many shoppers there that were dangerously close to making the mistake of buying a classic re-gift.
