Off-grid Cook House, Scotland (Stage 3, 2010)

Ardoch slow food convivium is a self-sustainable off-grid residential cook school in rural Perthshire, Scotland. The design sits within an existing walled garden adjacent to an ancient Roman fort. It is built using timber I-joists and is heavily insulated with sheep's wool. The proposal distinguishes between the public and the private through form and finishes.
