Stuey character design and cartoons by Leon Mussche

Stuey
Stuey is a character I created as a mascotte for the Netherlands Open University 'Open Universiteit Nederland.' Stuey is a genderless hyper-intelligent gifted student who follows all courses the University has to offer. Stuey might be somewhat nerdy and pedantic, sometimes annoying, but his intentions are always good. Luckily he has his dog Perro to keep his feet on the ground.

Stuey communicates several programmes the university offers through their student coaching programme, such as relaxation and mindfulness, speedreading, time-management, stress and motivation courses.

Stuey has appeared as a cartoon in student magazine 'Modulair' since 2004 and is still going strong. Several animations and an iPhone app with Stuey have been created as well over the years.
