pharmaceutical MOA animation by Leon Mussche

Description
Receiving chemotherapy is tough on the human body. Its side-effects can be debilitating. One of them is chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting. In the past years, a new medicine has been developed that blocks receptors in the brain that trigger the vomiting response. I was asked by a leading pharmaceutical company (USA/DE) to visualize the mechanism of action of this medicine. I created a female protagonist called ‘Eve.’ The response of chemotherapy to the cancer cells, as well as the process followed in the brain and stomach were visualized by simple icons in different colours.
