Ora is a new system designed to monitor drinking levels of elderly and infirmed patients’ which in turn can lead to dehydration. Ora enables staff to immediately recognise the patients’ water intake through a colour indicator which cleverly changes in correspondence to the weight of the water, thus illustrating to staff exactly how much the patient has consumed. This design is functional and serves an essential bed mate for all at risk through undetected lack of essential fluid intake.
