This was a collaborative project for which my classmate and myself worked. It was a great learning experience in terms of typography, layout, colour correction, imaging, artworking, offset printing, dye cutting. There was a sense of responsibility from the start to completion.

Colour India Kit - The colourINdia Kit:
It is a kit consisting six units for
the colours Red, Blue, Yellow,
Green, Black and White. Each unit consists of visual cards which introduce concepts through colour based on the following categories: Colour in feelings, food, ceremonies, festivals, dance, art and craft and some additional concepts specific to each colour.

My Diploma project was born
out of my passion for children
and teaching. For children learning
is a constant and instinctive process. Which is why it is important that their every experience should be meaningful and enriching.
Why colour? Colour is an intrinsic part of Indian life, in joy and sorrow, celebration and mourning, religion and entertainment, rituals and ceremonies, art and craft, cuisine and costumes.
Book Cover Design, Imaginary Homelands - This book cover enabled me to look at type in a very different way. The concept of fragmented memories comes across through the hidden letters. The colour scheme relates to the old inland letters which gives a feeling of nostalgia.
Book Cover Design, Tana Bana Catalogue - Concept:
These are a part of my explorations for the cover page of the Tana Bana catalogue. Tana Bana means warp and weft. The image used in the background is of a weave. The strings are different projects comin together in the catalogue.
