Born in Las Vegas and now living in Brooklyn, Daniel Brodie graduated with a degree in theatre and media design from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. His designs include Basil Twist’s Behind the Lid, Arias with a Twist, The Rite of Spring and Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella. His designs for Broadway include Motown the Musical, Jekyll & Hyde, and Disney's Aladdin. He has also created large-scale video designs for hip-hop artist Kanye West and for the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. In 2011 he was the recipient of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology’s Rising Star Award and he has guest lectured at Yale University.
