Introduction - The following pages contain photo essays of four brilliant pieces of architecture I studied during my short month in Japan. Unlike traditional architectural photography, the photos tend to focus on certain elements of time, space, light, and material verses an entire room or structure. This project focuses on capturing moments and details that echo the intent of the architect or the sensation a visitor gets as they walk through the space.
