Create, develop and redesign products for a manufacturer of first aid and emergency survival kits. Collaborate with the design team, sales and marketing department in presenting new products and concepts to various clients that include a wide range of retailers and distributors such as Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Target, Big Lots, HEB Stores, Nissan, Hyundai and many others. Lead projects and supervise work of senior and junior designers.

Communicate with various vendors/ printers for price quotations, submit pre-press artwork, and provide detailed information and spec sheets for producing final product. Attend press checks to ensure quality of final print output prior to production. Assist in the maintenance of product standard and master drawings as well as files on assigned projects.

Create and design mailers, flyers, brochures, banners, logos, business cards, posters, power point backgrounds and t-shirt designs for various clients.

Work closely with the Director of Research and Development and other designers in developing and creating product lines and product packaging, logos for different product categories, and catalogs. Report to the Director of Research and Development for current status of projects.

Conceptualize designs for bags and cases to be used for kits being developed. Take photos of products, product-in-use, and contents to be used for artwork, flyers and catalogs. Produce mock up samples of products being developed to be presented to potential clients.
