Minsk Conceptual Rendering - This is the International Ice Hockey Complex Master Plan in Minsk, Belarus. The project was a 27 acre multi-purpose megalopolis, with entertainment, retail, residential, and offices throughout the site. The rendering shown is a remarkable aerial perspective of our masterpiece. The rendering shown here, I was not responsible for; however, the building concepts, planning and ultimately the manifestation that is depicted in this rendering my team and I most certainly were solely responsible for.
Minsk Masterplan - This is the International Ice Hockey Complex Master Plan in Minsk, Belarus. The project was a 27 acre multi-purpose megalopolis, with entertainment, retail, residential, and offices throughout the site. The design team, which I co-managed with the vice president, was responsible for the master planning, landscaping, and design for this proposal. It remains the most ambitious job that I have ever been apart of. This rendering was drawn and rendered by my team and I.
Trump Tower - This is Trump Towers, a two phase, twin tower luxury residential development in Atlanta, Georgia. Bolstered by the recent success of several winning bids across the country, my team was brought in to begin design conceptualization for our firm's most design intensive project to date. I was responsible for collaborating on the original concept massing and exterior treatments with the design principals. Several subsequent conceptual renderings won us this job (not shown).
Glass House 2 - This is Glass House II, the second phase of an already successful high-rise residential development in Denver, Colorado. After several failed design proposals due to the rising cost of construction, my team was brought in to develop a new facade treatment for the exterior based on an existing set of plans. This was the primary view of the final submittal to the owner, a concept that I worked on with the Design Principal and rendered, myself.
West Village - This was a rendering completed for a Mixed-Use (Retail+Residential) Master Plan Development in Marietta, Georgia. Here I was responsible for programming, and laying out the site to maximize the density of units, while also complying with code and local ordinances. The final linework and illustration were additionally completed by me.
Abernathy at Barfield - This is Abernathy at Barfield, a split-level apartment complex in Atlanta, Georgia. Here, I was responsible for collaborating on the exterior treatment based on an existing set of units already laid out on the site. After several rejected design proposals, we were brought in to produce a charming storybook look for the facade treatment for the owner's approval. We used watercolors for these final renderings. The project's design was approved, and the client moved forward with construction
W South Beach - This is the W South Beach, in Orlando Florida. The Client, after a falling out with the primary architect, and after the submittal of final construction documents, W Hotels pulled me in to provide design direction, space planning, and marketing assistance for the existing suites within the facility. These are just a few of the suites that I laid out and submitted drawings for before the project's successful opening in July 2009.
Square 673 - This proposal was put together for a High-Rise Apartment Block in the Heart of Washington D.C. Shown is the Ground Floor Amenities, Resident Courtyards, and Unit Distribution. Here, I was responsible for the Conceptual Development and Programming as Well as that of the Final Rendering for Client Presentation.
Piedmont Park - This design exercise included a series of Density Studies for proposals to the owner, and ultimately the community review board for approval due to the proximity of the single family homes (to the East). Here, I was responsible for preliminary due diligence as well as the final illustration shown above.
Ron Clark Academy - This is the has been remarked as one of the progressive insitutions for teenagers. Although I do not have the final BIM renderings that I worked on, I thought it was appropriate to at least mention that my efforts were a part of this design modeling package for the Cafeteria / Classroom Building that was submitted to the Client for approval in July 2009. Because of our efforts, we were contracted to complete the centerpiece staircase for the entry lobby to the Main Building to the left.
Classic Automotive Showroom - This is a Project that I worked on to Re-Adapt the use of an existing dilapidated body shop to an Automotive Showroom. Here, I was required to present design concepts to the owner for approval, and submit the renderings to the Gwinett County Special Use Permitting Board. We recieved the permit because of my involvement, and construction has already commenced.
