safe - What will the future bring?
An over populated megalopolis: people turning on people like too many caged rats. Where crime is more common than sunshine. What is it these neo-criminals want? Then same then as it is now: Money.
The task is set to create a tool to help deal with this harsh future condition. Something that will help protect the user and their valuables, something that will give them a sense of ease in an otherwise chaotic environment. Something that will make the user safe.
A bankcard secured by personal fingerprint identification so that even in the wrong hands your funds are safe. A digital allowance to track daily spending. A base unit to manage funds.
The Card is activated only when the authorized users fingerprint comes in contact with it. Once activated the user can make purchases (withdrawing from your Checking account), check their daily spending via the Reminder* or view & transfer funds via the Vault.
The Card tallies daily spending and relays information to the Reminder* & Vault. The Reminder* gives a graphic display of how much you have spent/have yet to spend for the day based on what you set your allowance to. The Vault gives a graphic readout of the exact funds you have in Savings and Checking. The Vault averages deposits and withdrawals and allows you to set the Reminder* to $pend or $ave depending on what you would like to do with your money.
Both the Card and Reminder* are worn in plane view on ones clothing. A signal to would be assailants that you have nothing for them worth stealing. The two halves of the Reminder* are held together magnetically and worn like a pin or broach. The Card is folded in half and clipped onto any hem of clothing, cuff, lapel, collar, pocket, etc.
Know where your funds are. Know that your funds are secure. Know that with nothing worth stealing, you are not a target. Know that you are safe.
Safety, Security, Chedda control. Wear safe.
