David Michael Miller Associates - Hillside Eclectic

This project, a hillside home in Paradise Valley, Arizona utilized an eclectic design approach to transform a home with an awkward floor plan and some outdated finishes, into a home that is gracious and stylish, yet functional. Some existing finishes of the home were retained, supplemented or re-interpreted to be more timely. The client for this project had a wide range of tastes, and DMMA worked to blend their different aesthetic leanings to produce an effect that is new and classic at the same time. The varied styles of the interiors are subtly connected and interwoven, so as to communicate an experience that provides a sense of surprise as well as continuity.
