Set on a south facing desert hillside, this new contemporary home is bold and dramatic on its site, where deep terraces cantilever with interior spaces from the rocky slope. The client wished to have a comfortable contemporary home that was both casual and dramatic, a home that would be compelling both in the day and night. The interior finishes, millwork designs, and other interior features, were selected and designed to be natural and organic, and relevant to the greater architectural context in which they exist. The studio provided the client with, not only interior finishes and a furnishings assemblage that suits their tastes and lifestyle, but goes beyond that to create an original blend of art and interior’s styling that will be resistant to trend and passing interior fashion.
