LA BANDE | 2009 - LA BANDE is the result of my bachelor thesis, "space in the context of its sensual perception". The furniture can be modified to allow the user to sit and recline. One end of the bande splits up into two independent sections. The longitudinal split and the flexibility of the material allows the two sections to bend individually to form space. The ends are plugged into a slot in the base of the furniture.
