Labor Hours Estimate
I created this spreadsheet in order to quickly determine how many labor hours a store would need given gross sales. I basically take growth over the last several weeks and months, the revenue of the same time previous year, and then determine how many hours of labor are needed each day. I would then look to the Daily Sales Reports and Profit and Loss statements to ensure actual labor costs were low. Additionally, I would learn through spending time in the shops whether or not baristas had enough time to complete tasks given a certain amount of hours.
Please note, so as not to publish actual sales or labor data, all of the displayed numbers are placeholders.
