Tandem seat helicopter developed by Cicaré S.A. for the Argentine Army. Innovar 2012 Grand Prize winner design.
They aimed to create a flying prototype within a year for an interested investor. The product was defined as tandem 2-seat light helicopter for transport, instruction and patrolling.
My main goal for this particular project was to collaborate as the designer of the team applying my knowledge and experience but without obstructing on Cicaré´s developing methodology Sentidosdesign assisted Cicaré with technical drawings and 3d simulation of mechanical parts and assemblies. I was also responsible for the design of the external body and the cockpit. The shape evolved as the structure and mechanical systems dictated.
