90 year old Clifford played his sax at the opening reception when the refurbished Turf Club bar sign was relit for the first time in 40 years.
Exhibit design in front of the 14'x20' exterior banner, which matched the announcement postcard.
Custom artifact mounts included mannequins, reader rails, framed originals and digital enlargements.
Over 200 people attended the opening reception.
Each of the six musical genres were introduced with an interpretive text panel. Each genre zone was assigned a color, typeface and pattern theme to aid in way finding and separation of the subject matter.

"Spirituals to Soul: African American Musical Heritage in Monmouth 1880-1980" was a 750 sq ft exhibit held at Monmouth County Historical Association Museum, Freehold, NJ from June thru Nov 2015. Entailed 6 musical genres, sound listening stations, floor to ceiling graphics, 3 flatscreens, custom artifact mounts, reader rails, and a 14'x20' exterior banner. Working closely with the musical historian/curators I was the sole designer, preparator, production coordinator, and installer.
