The Skid Loader

This low poly Skid loader was created for UDK game engine. The first thing I've done was gathering good reference material. Next I modeled a high detailed version of the skid loader using the SubD modeling techniques. Then I created a low poly version of that. Afterwards I unwrapped the low poly model.
Once that was done I "baked" the high poly information onto the low poly. The result were a normal map and an ambient occlusion map. Then I gone over the photoshop where I painted the diffuse map. When that was done I distilled a specular map and a glossiness map. I also used photoshop to enhance the normal map with smaller details (scratches and mud).
At last I exported my model in UDK.
