• Helped transform products like the Wave radio, QuietComfort noise cancelling headphones, 3•2•1 home theater system and Solo TV sound system into industry icons
• My work beat multiple other pieces in tests, ran for years and generated hundreds of millions of dollars
• Managed a high-performing creative team of up to eight people at a time – copywriters, art directors and studio artists – hiring, directing, mentoring and motivating staff
• Wrote and creatively directed a wide variety of advertising – print ads, direct mail, catalogs, emails, websites, inserts, radio and TV
• Helped launch Bose on QVC, then wrote scripts fine-tuning the company’s airtime for increased profitability
• Wrote the direct response commercial that made TV profitable for the first time at Bose
• Creative leader for the company’s direct response launch into Canada and Mexico. Also wrote advertising for England and Europe
• Served as Associate Creative Director for the retail advertising team for a year while also continuing to manage direct response
• Wrote a wide variety of other materials including general advertising, business-to-business and public relations
• Had print ads submitted for NEDMA awards twice and took home a gold each time. Also took home a silver and bronze when we submitted a group of my ads and they swept the category
• Many company and department awards: President’s Awards, Director’s Awards, Corporate Communications Employee of the Year award, etc.
• Took an early retirement from Bose on excellent terms and am now looking for new challenges
