Eco-Boutique Packaging - Sustainable amenity package for luxury hotels. A challenge to combine contradicting concepts; 'eco' and 'luxury'. Instead of just using 'natural/organic/environmentally friendly' materials, I focused on eliminating wasted volumes in packaging as much as possible which contributes in reducing overall material use and its weight. Both in turn contributes to more efficient distribution. Client: Pacific Direct
Eco-Boutique Packaging - Sustainable amenity package for luxury hotels. 1. Package serves as a welcome display just by opening it. 2. Bottle labels are transparent and allow hotel staff and guests to easily check the content. 3. Square bottles provide better grip and doesn't roll. 4. Four square bottles save more than 1 bottle worth of volume than four cylindrical bottles. 5. Contains: 4 bottles, Sewing kit, Soap bars, Shower cap, Vanity kit, Shoe mitt. Client: Pacific Direct
Rubbish Frame - Focusing on the fact that most poeple use their room rubbish bin with the standerdised plastic bags from supermarkets, this design brought the "bin" to its minimum form. Put the two hands of a plastic bag on the two round top of the frame, and the weight of rubbish naturally locks the bag in place.
